Listening to eXtreme Programming podcasts

I’ve just been listening to a podcast on Extreme Programming, also known as XP, very Agile. Some of the things these guys said were a bit surprising. Apparently at the beginning of a project when the developers get the requirements, from who?, they write them down on little index cards. Just a couple of sentences and give them a priority. Whaaaat?
