Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert on Wednesday defended Helen Thomas's anti-Semitic remarks by attacking conservative talk radio hosts Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, John Gibson, and Michael Savage. Addressing the comments that led Thomas to resign her position with the Hearst News Service, Colbert said, "Jesus Christ on a matzo cracker, Helen. What were you thinking?" He continued, "You don't just blurt out racially charged comments on camera." As pictures of the four conservative talkers appeared on the screen, Colbert quipped, "You do it on your radio show" (video follows with commentary):

<p>Based on this admission, the citizen-researcher requested from Janice Okubo, Communications Director for the Hawaii Department of Health, the index data for all the Steve Dunhams in their registry for an individual born August 4, 1961. The request was made on Oct. 29, 2009. The answer came on November 10.</p>

It looks like no one was born with the name Barack Hussein Obama II. The name “Steve Dunham” was the name of the child on the birth certificate in the Mombasa General Coast Hospital. A new survey of New Hampshire voters from Public Policy Polling finds that Democratic Congressman Paul Hodes is the strongest early Senate candidate for 2010, although the field of commonly discussed candidates is pretty evenly matched. Hodes has the best net favorability of the quarter polled at 42/34. Former Republican Senator John Sununu and Democratic Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter each receive a +3 rating from state voters with the former at 46/43 and the letter at 43/40.
